According to Ukrrichflot request we have carried out actual hull strength calculation for m/v "VOLODIMIR SHARKOV" and it was successfully approved by Ukrainian Shipping Register
Vessel "VOLODIMIR SHARKOV" (project 1565), IMO number 8844062, was built in 1985 on the shipyard in Oltenitsa (Romania) according to the bureau "Vympel" project and has the following chracteristics:

- SLWL length 136.12 m
- length between perpendiculars 135.0 m
- breadth overall 16.7 m
- moulded breadth 16.5 m
- depth 5.5 m
- SLWL draught 3.518 m
- SLWL loaded displacement 6923 t
- engines output 1324 kWt
- full forward speed 10.7 knots
Vessel type - steel, single deck, tween-screw general cargo vessel, with double bottom and double sides, with engine room and wheelhouse in the aft part, with 2 cargo holds
Ship's purpose - carrying general cargo, and solid bulk cargoes, containers, grain and timber in holds.
Actual hull strength condition analysis was carried out according to the thickness measurements made during 05.08.2019 – 19.09.2019 by SIGO MARINE operators (certificate number № СВ-12-3-14-15) in Kherson, Ukraine
Calculation of geometric characteristics of transverse sections of hull was fulfilled by self-developed p software: «TIBRUS»
According to the results of actual hull strength calculation overall and local strength of the m/v “VOLODIMIR SHARKOV” satisfies the requirements of the Ukrainian shipping register for restricted area of navigation R3-RS and ice category Ice1 for wave height of 2,5 m with 3 % probability of exceeding level
(h3% ≤ 2,5m).
Actual hull strength calculation was successfully approved by the Head Department of Ukrainian Shipping Register
